Ok, my best friend's birthday is coming up in 2 months and I was thinking about getting her a guitar pedal. Thing is, I barely know anything about guitar pedals.
First off, how expensive are they usually? I only have $180, but I can save up some more if I have to.
Secondly, what exactly should I be looking for? Her two favorite guitarists are Jimmy Page and Stevie Ray Vaughan, so I was thinking something that could give a bluesy effect.
Third, should I just go to a music store and ask the people there? I don't want to get ripped off or anything though, so...what do I do?
I may have some follow up questions, so stay tuned in case I add on to this.
