...still be able to sleep? Will they be able to be still at the bottom and sleep, or will the current be too strong for them. They are goldfish, 2 are quite big the others are small - about 2 inches. The filter stays on all the time too.

yes they will sleep
fish don't require still waters to sleep its the DARKNESS that comes first for them to sleep.

They will be fine.... unless the current is really strong (suggests your filter is too powerful) if you are worried, place a rock or something in front of filter outlet to diffuse the water flow.
