I've changed to a shark nose

The mirrors where bought on ebay from a vendor. They are exactly like the ones sold by Harley but without the bar/shield logo. I think I paid about $60 new and the ones in the Harley catalog are about $200. Here is a link to the ones on ebay.

I also jumped into the shark tank today. I ordered the same Merlot for spring delivery. I have owned 8 EGCs and was really having to think about jumping in as I really wanted a Limited. I was able to ride two demos each on the RGU and the Limited and I was sold.

I think its going to be a long winter. I am riding an 08 EGC with ABS and oil cooler. I hope the HEAT is not going to be an issue. I will keep watching and see how the owners make mods to the new Ultra.

I will probably add rear crash bars, and the Heritage style handlebars. I like the helmet locks on rear crash bars. I have a Zumo 550 and wonder is it possible to mount it on the fairing inner like the CVO . Any advice would be appreciated. If I add the vented clearview shield would that prevent mounting the Zumo on the inner fairing . I currently have it on my handlebars on my EGC.

Thanks for your help.

It took some years of riding Harleys before the look of the Road Glide appealed to me. Then suddenly, I walked into Latus motors last fall and saw the, then, new 2010 black denim RG Custom and immediately, I thought the Road Glide finally looked "right" to me. Then I took a long test ride back and forth between SG > RG > SG > RG. The RGC became mine immediately. Now I think of the RG as a traditional Harley, at heart, but designed and styled for the "progressive, forward-thinking" rider. It's got all the right stuff and, I think, looks awesome!

Im still deciding on the switch. There is a 2010 RG denim Im interested in, I cant see paying 24-25,000 right now. My current bike is good. I like the bars on the RG and it feels more solid than the batwing. I need to test ride again.
