some questions..? 1. Is there a comparable lens by another manufacturer that is cheaper. Prices in Australia for this one range from $1,500 to $2,500.
Or, is this a ridiculous over-capitalisation when something else would "do" ?
2. When I upgrade my old Canon eos 300D to a Canon 40D, will the lens fit it ? I'm a bit confused since I read that the EF lenses will fit the 40D, I took this to mean that some of the others will not?
