I've beaten Civilization's Revolutions about 25 times, can some recommend another

Civilization game? Civilization's Revolutions was my far game of the series and I like it. I want to play other Civilizations games but the biggest thing to me is being able to advance in technology. Also, hopefully there is a game that lets you keep playing even after you've beaten it. If you can recommend Civilization game like that for me it would be greatly appreciated.
I'd prefer another game in the Civilizations series. Thanks
