i've always wanted to be a NASA pilot! help?

so i got into the Embry riddle aeronautical university. my major is going to be aeronautical science, does that mean i cannot be a NASA pilot?

even when i was a little girl i wanted to be a NASA pilot, i used to dream of fighter planes, space shuttles and everything when i was a little girl...


and i heard NASA only gets there pilots from the military, is that true? and is my major gonna be a problem?
 
To be a NASA pilot you need to apply first and it could even take decades for you to join.
 
try nasa .com and looking for dryden research center, you can get a job that way and be sure to ask about being a pilot, dryden is at edwards afb.
