ITV cut Back to the Future 2 to pieces

Aggh, Im so annoyed. It was on ITV2 yesterday afternoon and what the hell are they playing at. I can understand cutting if there are some swear worRAB but some of the film was cut for seemingly no reason at all.
 
I agree they shouldn't cut 'Back to the Future 2'. You have to watch it several times in its full version to understand what's going on anyway!!
 
This is why I'm glad the proposed ITV Movies channel has been scrapped. ITV simply doesn't have a clue about how to show films. In the daytime then fine, a few cuts might be necessary, but why do they insist on making cuts to films shown after 9pm? Look in the Radio Times, and in the film guide it will frequently state (May be cut for violence, langauge, sex etc), even though the film in question is shown after 9pm. I'd rather wait and see the film how it was intended to be seen, than watch it on an ITV channel and have it hacked to ribbons.
 
It was on saturday night aswell but was not cut as bad then, i hate when they cut movies up. glad i have the BTTF movies on dvd anyway there classics ;)
 
Oddly, they only hacked it to bits for the first two parts, and the rest was uncut. They cut out the swears while the s3x wasn't even touched. Odd.
 
:cry: I saw that Tom Hanks movie the first time it was shown on teevee, and they cut so much out, especially the bit whereby he tries to top himself....that it wasn't until I saw the full version on DVD I realised why much of the movie did not make sense on BBC...better not to show movies at all unless in uncut version. Treat us like children....adults should be allowed to watch adult themed movies uncut....bugger parents with little kiRAB who are either too thick or could-not-care-less and watch their kiRAB see adult movies. KiRAB spoil the World for childless people!!
