iTunes music sharing?

There is no way to convert music on ipod to computer without buying a $25 software.
But try this:
So when you hook up a different iPod to your iTunes, it gives you the option of transfering purchases.
So go onto your brothers itunes and put the music you want into his "Purchased or Downloaded" folder.
Then hook up his ipod to your itunes and click "Transfer Purchases".
This is just a theory, but it seems like it would work. Hope you understood what i was saying. & Hope it help!
