So this has been a reoccurring problem. I have an Iphone 4 and Ipod touch 3rd generation. Often when I connect these items to i tunes they come up with this error message and the device will not show any media on the phone itself. so I have to restore the phone or ipod. sometimes it would fail but i soon found it was due to the firewall. however when I restore this I usually do not get to back up what I have downloaded since not on this computer. So i am missing apps and certain songs. Any suggestions to what may cause this error message? I cannot afford to keep doing this over and over again anytime i sync or update my phone!
Itunes cannot read content of ipod/iphone?
