Put your whole hand on your arm/leg make sure it touches skin on skin.
[a] Does your nerves in your hand feel your arm/leg? [i.e. Does your hand feel your leg?]
Or
Does the nerves in your arm/leg feel your hand touching it? [i.e. Does your arm/leg feel your hand touching your arm/leg?]
Or
[c] Do they feel them at the same time? [i.e. Are you feeling your hand touch your arm/leg *and* your arm/leg feeling your hand touching it?]
And
[d] It’s weird because even though your touching both at the same time, and you have nerves in both areas your touching, your only feeling one aspect of it at one given time, i.e. you only feel either your hand touch your arm/leg or your arm/leg feeling your hand touching it.
