Following on from an earlier thread fortelling the imminent and untimely demise of the Palm OS, It seems that, to paraphrase Mark Twain, reports of the Palm OS death have been greatly exagerated. Follow this link:

I hope that we do have to wait.

And I'm being pessimistic in some of my posts regarding the subject, which is not normally my nature. But there has been so much to be negative about and very little positive.

One last comment for my statements to be false: Palm has not kept up with their competitors for advanced devices with the exception of the Treo. And unless they start selling hardware that has more to offer than a WM or PPC device, the hardware side will continue to lose market share. And then what will Access do? They will migrate it to a linux based environment and it will become some sort of "blob" that only resembles the current OS in a minor way.
