For the first time ever in the 35 years since its release, 1974's mutant killer baby horror/comic flick It's Alive! is getting its first British TV screening tonight (or rather tomorrow morning) at 1am on BBC2.

Definitely one to set the for.

I'm pretty sure I've seen it on TV a number of occasions, infact it was on telly about 2 years ago but I can't remember what channel. Great creepy film though, scared me silly, I might try and watch it tonight. Anyone see the remake? it looked pants.

You're very welcome.

Hot on the heels of The Baby a few months ago - the Beeb are spoiling us with tasteless 70s horror.

All we need now is Joan Collins' grimmest hour I Don't Want To Be Born - it's been a while.

Yep, and the remake looks absolutely terrible. Even got that wooden guy from Primeval(the series) in one of the leaRAB.

Haven't seen the original, so might watch it tonight.

Just got next week's TV mag today and I see that this killer-70s fashion sense er i mean baby-fest is atually on BBC2, next Sunday, at the same time. Spooky

Keep an eye out in particular for a surprisingly nasty demise for Donald Pleasance... any 'heaRAB up' (ho-ho) as to what might be the week after? I don't think 70s mutant murderous oRABpring is a genre that stretches particularly far...
