itchy feet, hands and dizzyness

I just got out of hospital thursday After a operation for torn cartlidge. During that same evening i started to itch on the bottom of my feet and then the palm of my hands.I also noticed redish dots and blotches on my right arm. I started to feel faint with a hot sweat, lasted about 1 minute and then quickly developed to a cold sweat, again lasting about a minute. The itching, sweating, red blotches and dizzyness subsided very quickly. I feel this had some connection to the anesthetic for my operation. Any comments or imfo would be appreciated.
 
Diffinitely sounds like an alergic reaction to the anestetic or possibly pain meds. I would tell the surgeon or your primary care doc to avoid that situation again if you need another surgery or have pain that might require a prescription med.
 
Thank you for the quick reply. mm i never thought of the pain killers. I had taken two. They are called SYNAP FORTE TABLETS. Think i will look them up for any side effects,

Thank you for your reply. No i wasn,t given any antibiotics. So far so good, its not happened again. Reading other threads on here, itchy feet and hands seems to be common and appears to be some form of reaction. Next week i have a follow up appointment with the surgeon. I will certainly mention this to him.
