Itchy clit hood piercing...?

I saw my piercer today ans she told me my horizontal clit hood piercing wasnt rejecting and healing fine. Well when I got home I noticed it was itching. The only part that itched was one side of the piercing no where else and it only last a min or two. The itching was very mild and didnt really bother me. Ive had piercings before but none of them itched. Is this normal? Thanks in advance!
