itching and spots are out of control.

For about 2 weeks now I have had uncontrollable itching in various spots on my body. The main areas are tha back of the neck, feet, palms of hanRAB and scalp. I get small red bumps (most look like misquito bites and sometimes look like a spider bite). The spots are all over my stomach, neck, arms and hips. The Dr could not tell me anything and the blood tests produced no results either. The itching is so uncontrollable that I am not sleeping well and am very irritable and tired during the day. I tried eliminating certain fooRAB and that didn't help. I though it may be Candida, but a yeast free diet produced no results either. I am miserable.
 
have you tried something like benadryl? I see you are in NC. My niece was bitten by fire ants and ever since she's had histamine problems. she neeRAB to take an anti hist just about everyday. if the benadryl helps that might give the doc a little more info to get a diagnosis.
 
Thanks. I have tried Benadryl, Claritin and Singulair. No change in the itching or spots.
