It will be late for me to consider medicine as profession ?

From my early age I have been fascinated by the working of life and especially the human body which is a remarkable machine . My childhood dream was to become a neurosurgeon and I am 17 at the moment and I got to spend three more years in college which means I will be at med school at 21 . That will not be late for me to achieve my childhood dream? I will be very appreciative if you can help
