I am 4'11" and rather timid. I am smart, yet I do have my quiet moments. I smile a lot and act goofy a lot because it makes me happy. Lately, it seems that I've been running into a lot of people who like to talk low of me, point out all my flaws, or just disreguard my opinions. I am not a loud person, however I will speak up if I feel it necessary, but most of the time I don't think the person is even worth the effort.
I wish people would just respect me. I show them the upmost respect, I listen to what they have to say. However it seems like it gives them a sense of overconfidence in their ability to walk all over me. Do they sense weakness?
Do I have to become more intimidating or something? I just don't get why people have to act like they're so much better....
does anyone else have this problem? I take things too seriously sometimes too...I dont know how to not take things to heart. It's a flaw I guess. :\
