18 thinks she will never loose her virginity, and believes she is too old to be a virgin? wouldn't you agree.
 
Why blame media? Adolescents are expected to wait 3 to 6 years after the start of puberty to try out their "new equipment" for the first time. How unrealistic is that?

I like to try out my new water hoses before I have to actually put out a fire. As long as I don't spray it haphazardly!
 
Yes, I agree. It is very sad. The media has always had a "hey day" with young people, especially young women (because of the their vulnerability) and these poor young people get sucked into whatever the media presents them. All young girls want to be popular and have good friends, and a boyfriend to share special time with. I do not have any idea what to say to help this girl, other than she is NOT too old to be a virgin and that someone will show up in her life one day and she will know that he's the one.
