I personally believe it is impossible for a creationist to defend his belief on its own merits alone. That they cannot argue the validity of Creationism without attacking evolution. Furthermore in the presence of another religion's origin story, Biblical creationism runs completely out of steam and falters, incapable of arguing it is true.
 
The capacity for blind, sweet, unquestioning faith is terrifying.

But it all comes back to faith and opinion with Creationism, which is why the vast majority of their time is spent attempting to debunk evolution.

The foundations of the belief are relative, so the position is defined by opposition.
 
This poll is pretty much stating the obvious....

Maybe it's time to put it to the test and see if the creationists have any evidence FOR creation.... hmmmm....
