I know the first two are different to the second two 4x4's but I need a reliable workhorse for under ?3000 that is big enough for a large family and dogs.
I'm not worried about mileage, MPG ( I will only do around 3k miles per year ) but has to be 4x4 for the conditions where I live.
Insurance and tax is about the same on the all but I dont know about repairs, major faults, servicing etc.
All I have heard is :-
Isuzu - Basic not that good on normal roads
Toyota - Bullet proof if you find the right one but heads do crack
Honda - Bit boring, expensive to fix
Nissan - Great cars, quite a bit smaller, more expensive
