Issue with new BB connect & New E61 Firmware

I'm having problems with the new bb connect (6.44) and the new E61 firmware update. Everything upgraded fine, and I installed the new BB software, but for some reason the blackberry network is unavailable.

I have the 4 little square icons (next to the bluetooth indicator), but it has a line drawn thru them...It makes no attempt to connect (normally the 4 squares pulse on and off while connecting) it immediately puts a line thru them. In the old firmware, if you held down the end call button for a couple of seconds, it would always ask if you wanted to end blackberry2 connection...this no longer happens, it's as if the bb connect is now longer starting when the phone is switched on....I've tried re-installing...no luck....Anyone else having the same problem/any suggestions
Thanks
BTW I'm on tmobile usa

the line means bb service is off, maybe you have it set to off in the settings? you can try to re-register your device too, go to settings hit options and register now that will get is on the bb service again if you get an sms back saying it is registered.

Crap, some how I got myself into the same thing. It used to work until I've changed the mode from Dual to GSM, for some reason changing back didn't solve it either. The whole system of switching between access points (GPRS) and WiFi is not smoother as I wish. Does anyone has a turorial how to get it to work right? I mean what setting to set if I want to Prompt every time for a GPRS connection if there is no WiFi around and vice versa?

for web i have mine set to always ask and if there are no wifi spots around it will not show them on the list of available apns. as for blackberry it should run over grps on the blackberry.net apn.
