My buddies and I own a mid 80's white Dodge Van. The exterior is in horrible shape. It is your typical, sketchy looking rapist van, yet last summer after we had all been drinking heavily, we decided it would be a good idea to re do the entire drive train to the max.
The van's exterior still remains an utter mess, yet what is under the hood will make you almost sh*t your pants completely.
A 572 cubic inch big block, Merlin heads, roller cam, etc, TWIN TURBOCHARGED.
It was the funniest thing in the world to see this completely shitty looking van lay down 1378 rear wheel horsepower last month. The thing kills anything on the street, even bikes. In fact we were all chased down by an angry C6 ZO6 Corvette owner before because he simply was in complete shock that a mid 80's POS Dodge van had absolutely smoked his Corvette.
My question is... do I bring this thing to the track? This van is kind of an urban legend in my area. People don't believe its real because they haven't seen it. You can't tell that its incredibly modified (unless you look under the fender wells and see the massive header tubes) and it doesn't sound crazy if you drive it normal.
Should I let the secret out here or what??
