Issue with current setup on Droid

I am currently running a fully flashed Motorola Droid and everything seems to work, although I can't get certain mms pics to send, but that is another issue. The problem I am running into is every once in a while I get a system update notification on my screen. It tells me that Froyo is downloaded and ready to install. Click to restart now.

Now, the problem is if I do this then I will lose all of my Cricket settings and have to redo them all over. I am not sure I want to do this, although I would like that system update notification to go away.

My current setup is this:

Android Version: 2.2
Model Number: Droid
Baseband: C_01.3E.03P
Kernel: 2.6.32.9.g103d848android-build@apa26#1
Build Number: Simple Rom 1.0

What can I do to get this system update notification to stop? Do I need to reflash, update the phone, or just ignore it?

Thanks

Surely someone must have some idea on this. How can I get the notification on my homescreen to quit or how can I get the ota download to not automaticly download?

You can ignore it all though it won't go away. Choose a different ROM, or become really good and Android and find the file and remove it, although doing so could corrupt the ROM So a full nandroid is recommended.
