isolated camping places in CA?

does anyone know of isolated camping places in CA. i live in Southern Cali. looking to go camping, but i don't want annoying little kids running around and those stupid people w/ RVs. Some where it is isolated i'll hike to the place that's fine, but i just want peace and quit. where i can just relax fish and get away from all this rush just for a few days.

If your willing to hike in a bit the deep creek area behind big bear has some nice spots along it that are good to camp at. The arroyo seco used to have some nice spots as well as the east and west forks of the san Gabriel river. I have not been up in there yet since the fire. If you can drive out a ways the kern river has some nice spots especially along the upper Kern. I would not camp at the regular camp grounds but along the open stretches of the upper river where you can park and camp. You can hike in near miracle hot springs and camp there as well.
