Isn't make up one of the biggest tragedies of civilization?

Think about all the time women spend putting make up on. For what? To stroke their insecurities? If you can't be true to yourself then how can you be true to anybody else? Think about all the cold hard cash women spend on make up? For what? To impress other women wearing make up too? Make up might be one of the biggest tragedies of modern civilization and surely something to be looked back on and laughed about in the not so distant future!
 
Yep. Once the big miracle comes where my skin magically evens itself out and I have nice full eyelashes. Until then, I'm playing girly and slapping on the spackle every day. ;-)
I put it on because it makes me more confident. I'm true to myself and it's me, only better! No, I don't plaster it on either. I hate that war paint look.
(Nice of you to think about the effort we put in every day though.)
 
I don't wear makeup.

None at all.

Don't think this makes me any better or any worse than anyone else.

It's just me.

If you want a girl without makeup, that 's fine.

Just don't judge girls who choose to wear it.

It's one of those MYOB things.

This is so not the answer that you want to hear..but most women can put on their make up in 10 minutes of less. And if it should give some of pleasure to use it so be it. Some women would not feel as confident without it.It gives them a boost of spirits.
