not healthcare? In other words, they'd rather spend money on taking lives rather than saving them. George W. Bush DOUBLED the national debt from $5 trillion to $10 trillion in only 8 years and yet we didn't hear a peep out of the Republicans about excessive spending and big government during that time. In fact, the Republicans in Congress rubber stamped the Bush agenda from day one, allowing him to blow trillions on a foolish and disastrous war in Iraq (which enriched companies like Halliburton and Blackwater) and tax cuts for the wealthy. But now that their insurance company cronies stand to lose big time from healthcare reform, all of a sudden the Republicans start crying over spending. Isn't their hypocrisy pathetic? And isn't the fact that so many people buy into this hypocrisy and believe their lies even more pathetic?
