Isn't it racism to provide bailout funds for Ford and GM but not Toyota and Honda?

I'm talking about Toyota and Honda's US-based operations. They employ just as many workers in the US as the American-based manufacturers.

How many Toyota and Honda factories have announced they are closing their doors? Are they in trouble? If not, then they don't need a bailout. Honestly, I don't know how they are doing, but I haven't heard of any major shut downs concerning those companies.

I don't see the connection to racism.

Maybe it's because Toyota and Honda don't need bailouts? They make quality cars that people actually want to buy, unlike GM and Ford.

The American car companies are still focusing their ads on trucks and SUVs, which is why nobody buys from them.

lol

No.

And I'd like a statistic on your claim please.

EDIT*

All automakers are slowing production. The Big 3's slowdowns get into the paper, Honda's do not. Google 'Honda cuts production' or something similar.

I'm sure if Toyota and Honda wanted to move their main base of operations from Japan to the USA and reincorporate in the USA, they would be eligible for a bailout (if they needed it).

However at this point, since they are Japanese corporations (and incorporated in Japan, paying their tax rate), they need to get a bailout from the Japanese govt.
