Isn't it NORMAL for college students to spend summers at home (parent's house)?

I started college right after high school, I'm almost 21 years old, 3rd year in college, working almost 12 hours per day to pay for it all, and my mom isn't supportive to me at all about anything in my life. She never went to college and she is an alcoolic... I would think she would want to do everything in her power to help me along the way so I could have a better future than what she was able to provide for me. If all goes as planned, I'll have my bachelors degree in accounting in 1 year than I'll be able to live on my own and get a good job in the accounting field. ALmost every night, my mom yells at me saying, "You shouldn't be living at home at this age!" You're almost 21 years old You should have been out of the house completely at age 18! Than she says, "You should find an apartment!" I tell my mom, "summer is only 2 1/2 months long than I'm back living at college, I'm only home for the summer and I work all day long, I only sleep at home, nothing else... plus I can't imagine finding a 2 1/2 month apartment lease anywhere.... I need all the money I can save for college. My mom is only making my life harder when I'm just trying to do everything in my power to get myself on the right track. WHen other kids are out smoking pot and drinking at my age, I'm at work all day (basically every day in summer) trying to be responsible and develop a good foundation for my future... . She keeps telling me, "I think it's SO STRANGE to still see you in the house when you're almost 21 years old" you should be completely on your own. Isn't it normal for college students to go home over summer?
