Isn't anyone on this site curious about astronomy anymore?

Maybe I'm not looking hard enough, but it seems like the endless recycled "2012" and "Moon Landing Hoax" and "UFO" and "homework help" questions are taking up a much larger percentage of the questions in A&S than even a couple of months ago.

It seems very rare for a person to sign into Y!A, and ask a conceptual, factual, mathematical, observable (etc), question out of sheer curiosity.

Maybe I'm just getting a little bored with this site.
 
I suspect you're right, though there are still quite a few real questions.

Indeed, maybe it's a weather-related phenomenon!
