My first grandchild was born this morning at 6.30am and my daughter sent me a text with a photo of the new baby a little while later. It was fantastic and I could also hear the baby cry. :D

What do your grandchildren call you?
She is a little girl who weighed in at 7lbs 1 with black hair and white skin and red cheeks :D I heard her cry on the phone and got a photo of her soon after she was born. Her mother had a hard time for three days but looking at her she is....B E A U T I F U L!!! :)

Yes there can be no denying the fact that mobile phones today have gained the status of the most important gadgets in the world. It would not be a misnomer to state that today a stage has come when one cannot think of a world without mobile phones. What is most striking about mobile phones is the fact that they have completely transformed the way communication was carried out on telephone. Gone are the days when one was forced to stick to his phone in order to communicate. Today people move with phones in their pocket.
The fact that you could see the photo of your grandchild, as i guess , sitting hundred of miles away ....isn't it simply put forward AWESOME!!!....God bless your grandchild and congratulations to you...and bless the creators of the mobile phones!!

First of all, Congratulations.Yes they are, but they can also be a nuisance, you can't go anywhere nowadays without being 'tracked down.' If you turn the phone off you get asked "why did you turn your phone off"yadda yadda. So yes they are a good thing but say goodbye to your privacy!

Congrats! As for me, cameras have existed for decades. I like NOT having a phone because when i did, i got nonstop calls about unnecessary crap. Congrats on being a grandparent. As a nephew, my father truely enjoys seeing his family extended. The gift of birth is pure beauty.

Congratulations. Is it a boy or Girl. I have 12 grandchildren and they all call me Nannie except one who calls me Nannie Chrissy. Its strange how we have all come to rely on mobiles and PC's I would be lost without them.
