...it possible to use PS2 Guitar Hero Guitars on Playstation 3? I have two wired PS2 Guitars, is it possible to connect them to to my new PS3?

yes if you have an 80 giga bite PS3 and I know i have one and tried it before

The PS3 lacks the PS2's controller ports, so generally no.

Normal PS2 to PS3 controller adapters don't work for this since the PS3 asks you to press the PS button when playing PS2 games, and if you were using a normal controller, you'd press the analog button instead. However, the Guitar Hero controller lacks an analog button, so it doesn't work.

There's a specific adapter for this on the market though, but I've never tried it out.
