Is Yamaha Motif 6 for me?

I have taken some classical piano lessons and I love to play the keyboard and the piano.

I live in USA now and don't have an instrument here to play. I was thinking if this is a good point to start exploring musical workstations. I am getting a Motif 6 for 500 US dollars. I have experienced the portable keyboards such as Yamaha PSR640.

I realize that there is a learning curve for all the workstations, but can we use it to quickly play songs without making things complex if we choose not to?
