wrote poem, Soldier, send it in on poetry.com, recieved over 15 editor choice awards from them, was asked by Noble house publishing co. if they can put it in book with other poets? I don't tell them anything except ask why won't they ever place poem on their site for others to read, or ever win the money they say I am so good a poet for? I have written over 79 poems, turned them all in, & won editor choice awards on every one. have written poems for mostly all folks here at home, don't turn them in. Have parkingson's disease, must use computer to write; but still ask why do they just want to exploit my work for their own use, only thing they ever do is send out editor choice awards since wrote "Soldier", just for it, & it alone. It describes the feelin's of our nation toward the service of those now serving. First, wrote it for young Sargent in 82nd Airborne Rangers that was killed in action in Dec. of 2007, after the group of the Patriotic Guard Riders of Texas escorted his unit that he saved in this action came to Big Springs, Tx to say goodbye to him. It was one poem that made me proud of our soldiers over there, & after awhile, noticed, it describes every soldier ever fought or will be goin' into some sort of war action for our country.
