Is working for AMC (Air Mobility Command) any good?

I've heard conflicting stories about AMC, in your experience is it better or worse than a regular Maintenance Group?
The chances are pretty good, actually, being that I put this in the "Military" section. Apparently you forgot to use your brain, once again.
 
I also heard about this in a magazine and i don't remember its name but i am pretty sure that the article is much about this topic.I find it really interesting.but the question is that why you want to get involved with military when you can use your abilities in other businesses.
