In the Septuagint, sometimes the Greek word used to describe Wisdom is "logos" which means "word". In John chapter 1, Jesus is described as being the "logos" (Word) and says the Word was in the beginning with God (and also was God). In proverbs 8, Wisdom is described as having been with God during the creation and also being the firstborn over creation (verse 22) which is similar to Colossians 1:15. Is Wisdom as described in Proverbs, Jesus (or possibly the Holy Spirit) even though Wisdom is depicted as being a woman in Proverbs 8?
