Is wind energy more expensive than fossil fuels?

Wind energy is much cheaper, as it is a renewable resource. The only downside to wind energy is that is doesnt produce energy very fast.

Well yes, Denmark has the most wind energy in all of Europe and also has the highest cost. Its the start up fee that kills you. Also that the energy isn't always there so you have to have a back up plant. Shutting down and starting plants, not efficient.
