Is Wild Tangent games actually spyware?

I have a new gateway laptop and it came preloaded with some wild tangent games like bejeweled 2 deluxe, etc. I was wondering if it's safe to play these games from wild tangent. I have a bejeweled 2 deluxe disc game but it's for windows xp and not sure if I can download it on vista. Any help would be appreciated. Also, should I remove the wild tangent games from my laptop?
