i dont think nintendo fully understands the importance of online play since "the death of the arcade" .. nobody goes out and has Street Fighter matches in person anymore (sure maybe a couple of us, i played street fighter at the movies the other day).

the arcade audiacne has pretty much moved to online game play, and both MS and Sony (MS more) fully understand it and put alot of focus on making sure that its apart of almost every mainstream title. nintendo on the other hand uses online as an after thought... i really hope they get with the times soon and give us a Xbox Live or Playstation Network like function soon.

I'm content without it. Only real multiplayer games I play are FPS's which I play on my computer anyways.

youre content without it? i mean honestly? or are you just backing up the system?

personally i cant play games anymore without online competition.....back when i had the ps2 and got bored with it i couldnt actually play a game's story, would just go straight to online play.

Honestly yes, People come over and play I have no use for online games with the Wii.

I personally would like to see online multiplayer fully harnessed with the wii. in fact local multiplayer + WAN multiplayer = insanity, I bet

they will be fucking up if they don't at least give us the option to do either / or
