I had a phone number from 3G originally.
I ported it to T-Mobile. I had it for 4-5 years with T-Mobile only. Recent crisis made me go Bankrupt, and T-mobile cancelled my contract which I understand.
BUT what I would like to know that is it legal for them to withhold my number? I asked them to release my number to me on Pay-As-You-Go, but they don't want to give me an answer. They asked me to Send my Bankruptcy certificate to Everything Everywhere Ltd in Birmingham saying they are the people who handle bankruptcy cases related to their mobile services.
I did that on 12th Nov 2010. They received it couple of days later. But still no reply from them. I am planning to approach the OFCOM people, also involve Otelo or CIAS to whichever they are a member of.
I am having a hellish time with t-mobile sorting this out. It seems when things go slightly out of the way, no one knows what to do or say. Everytime I call I get a different answer to whatever the last person told me.
