Is Water a Food? Answer SCIENTIFICALLY please! (Biology Class)?

It depends on your definition of food. The general understanding is that foods are eaten to provide the body with energy and materials to build with- if that is so then water is not a food. However water is essential for functioning so it can be thought of as a nutrient. Good luck
 
well the definiton of food is "a substance that any living thing can eat or drink to sustain life"

Yes. Water IS one of the seven classes of food. Lack of it can cause deficiency conditions such as constipation.
