Hello,
I am an amateur musician and I record my music on my studio. But as you can predict, after the record sessions, I edit some part that doesn't sound that good by doing some tricks. The same thing applies when I use Photoshop for my pictures. I can really hardly take action against naturalness in life. For instance recently I had for the first time fixed some pimples on my face as before I uploaded the picture to my musician web page but then it disturbed me and I deleted replacing it by another picture of mine having a so to say more clear face. Moreover, today I flipped my a picture of me canvas horizontally via photoshop but that disturbed me too. I mean, I didn't look that reverse way. Isn't that cheating to myself although it might o.k for others. I love creating but I am stuck in a choice between pushing my creativity and naturalness which in this context seem to conflict with each other.
So what are your opinions? Could you help me have distinct reasonings in handling this "fake or natural when creative" issue?
