I love this song and it always makes me tear up when I listen to it. I would love for it to be our first dance song, however, the last part of the second verse may be too inappropriate for a wedding reception. Give it a listen and let me know what you think, please.

I think it's fine. Most songs that are played at receptions aren't all lovey dovey and no one bats an eye. As long as you love the song, your guests will not be analyzing the lyrics.

haha...i know exactly what you are talking about!! i'm considering it for my first dance as well! i LOVE it!
I will for sure read the other posts to see what people have to say, but I'm definitely leaning towards using it! Really, by the end of the song, who is listening to the lyrics?
Good luck!!!

I wouldn't do it...
It's up to you but I feel like since you have been hesitant it's better to just avoid it and go with something that you have no doubts about and that is still touching for you.

It's your wedding night. It's a pretty universal 'idea' of what goes on, on a wedding night! :-)

I personally don't find the lyrics offensive. Most people will be concentrating on your dance than the words anyways.

If it's what YOU want, then choose it. If it holds value to you, then choose it. If it's a song that you know in 10, 20, 50 years from now that you can look back upon and still be happy with, then choose it.
