Who cares what people think? Who cares if they think Echos are girly cars?

Echos are very zippy down low but once you go faster than say 50 KM/H they have no balls at all.

I'm all in favor of practical, reliable cars. I drive one. But I have to say that the Echo is perhaps the most preposterous looking car to come out in years. It looks like the designer was trying to design a cartoon car. It wouldn't look out of place in a circus with dozens of clowns pouring out of it. It looks top heavy and like it couldn't possibly handle well. Find another car. Personally I think Toyotas are over rated. I prefer Subarus and Saturns. Saabs are good too but pricey. I'm an S car man.

hey guys,
im 20 yrs old guy currently a student. i was thinking of getting a toyota echo hatchback. its a practical, reliable car which is also cheap to run. now though, im starting to think if it is too girlish for me to own one. what's your idea?
thanx

Nothing girly about an economical and reliable car.

Especially if you get one painted silver. Great car color.

personally, i think it is somewhat a girly car. BUT... just put an exhaust system and a Cold Air Intake in it and it will sound a million times better. and by the way... i know that the Echo already gets good mpg. but if you put an exhaust system and a Cold Air Intake in it ... it could possibly add about 60miles per tank!!!!!!!!! that's not bad for about $450 total. then... if you want to take it up a notch, put a nice sound system and body kit! hope i helped.

~~-*GOOD BRANDS*-~~
Exhaust - Borla or Apex
CAI ( cold air Intake) - AEM
Sound system - Sony Xplode.
Body Kit - idk...anything that looks good.

Here is a link to a pic of a NICE-ASS Echo
