Is today the end of the best music in rock history?

As a rock music listener, I like the latest rock music now, whether it's nu-metal, emo, or the post-punk garage revival. But sometimes I feel that some audiences didn't like any of these music. Plus, I think the occasionally-bad Disney teen pop is becoming increasingly popular than our good rock music. The Warner Music Group (WMG) has turned YouTube into CorporateTube now they're cracking users down over copyright. And digital downloads (often from pirates) are now outselling CDs, causing the closure of many music stores.

What do you think? Do you think now is the end of the best music in rock history? If I think we should go back to when popular music was at its glories in the yester-years, we should teach more of today's kids about late 20th century rock music if they want to know the meaning of real rock and roll. That way we'll continue with the rest of the 21st century with better music.
