Is Time Warner Cable road runner faster than verizon's dsl internet?

Also which has better customer service cause I currently use Verizon Dsl and once in a while experience difficulties with them like one time I asked them to upgrade to high speed and the next day instead of upgrading they disconnected by dsl. I called them and it was fixed 3 days later. I'm wondering what is Time Warner Cable's road runner internet like?
 
I've never used Verzion's DSL but I currently have Road Runner High Speed and it's really fast. If you have DSL then Road Runner probably will be faster because it's HIGH SPEED.
