Ok, first of all, this is going to be long. I'm 15 and I met my good friend on craigslist. She is 18. I put up an add looking for someone that needs help riding their horse/taking care of it, whatever. We met, and it was sort of awkward at first, but after a little bit we became good friends. My mom trusted her and everything and let me go to her 18th birthday, go to the movies with her and one of her friends, etc.
She trains horses, and she met a guy that got suckered into buying an unbroke thoroughbred stallion when all he wanted was a nice trail horse. So "Mary", let's call her, helped "Tony" with his un-rideable TB stallion. The two became sort of...close. Tony is much older than Mary. Tony is probably in his 50's.
So Mary becomes friends with Tony and convinces him to sell his horse and get a horse that he'd be more comfortable riding. They end up getting a $10,000 show horse. Now Mary is going to show Tony's show horse in hopes that he can maybe make a few bucks? But he pays for 18 year old Mary's show clothes, entrance fee's, everything!
Also, he hired her a his business. She now works for him and he is very protective of her. Tony told Mary's boyfriend that if he hurts her, "his balls will be hanging from his rear-view mirror". Cheeyah. No joke.
Anyways, where do I fit into this? Tony got another horse, and let me ride him. Then he says that I can show him. He thought I was a lot older than 15, and is now sort of standoffish towards me now that he knows my age. He just spent $530 on my show clothes.
I feel really awkward about this whole situation. Sorry I had to explain it so weirdly. But does it sound weird to anyone else? Let me know. :] Thanks!
OH! I totally forgot to mention that "Mary" is now living at "Tony"'s apartment. Plus, she had a huge hickey on her neck today. <---sort of random, but I just wanted to put some insight into what kind of a role model "Mary" is for me. :/
