...the Authors of the Bible....? It is my opinion that much of the Bible is just out-dated. I also believe that if the people were receptive, they would see that there are countless writings by people inspired by God in this modern world. If someone compiled these writings into a book and they were truly divinely inspired, then the real children of God would know it. Then we would have a more modern religious text, that applies to the present world. It just so happens that I have come to believe that many things in the Bible no longer apply. Things were so different thousands of years ago and I can't figure out what some of those scriptures are meaning. Some of the scripture has a theologic explanation, but I think the explanation should be that it is old and we can't understand it.
