I live in a quiet little neighborhood inside of the city of Decatur, GA...and today (starting as of this morning) there were a lot of heavy equiment, trucks, cars, etc. parked in driveways that aren't theirs and also in front of houses up and down the street. Quite far from the 3 houses being worked on. Basically they've come in and taken over this part of the neighborhood for some lame tv show that will be on "HGTV" according to one of the people that one of my family members asked. They're making over the house in front of us, and two houses across from each other down the road from us. There are cameras filming all of this crap, they're digging up those yards and planting flowers and such. Constantly perched in front of our house and going back and forth, and some have apparently thought that they owned our lawn and could just walk back and forth across it to get to another yard. It seems to be one of those "home makeover" shows obviously...but I'm getting kind of ticked off at them with their cameras and loud machinery. I woke up this morning to loud machinery and a massive amount of people in front of the house and basically everywhere. Today they were shooting a video of a lady at the end of our driveway (but yet it's the owner of the house across from us beind made over), but still in our driveway...and then panning back to her house across the street. Supposedly they're going to be here for a week doing this crap. Isn't this against the law and considered disturbing the peace at any time, if they're in areas where they aren't wanted? Because I'm seriously thinking of writing a letter or email to the program director and telling them to tone down their approach to things. I could care less what they do over there...but if it's affecting us getting in and out of our driveway, they're walking all over our lawn, being loud and rowdy, using loud machinery, etc...that seems out of control. Any laws on this?
