I have a old 25 inch sharp tube tv that my parents gave me when they bought a flat panel. Well at the factory settings anything red or brown has a static haze effect, but the blues and greens are fine. Also the picture is sort of dark unless you turn the brightness all the way up. Then everything just looks washed out. Is this TV totally shot, or should I try to fix it. I would hate to throw it away since it's been in the family 15 years, but I guess if it's crap, then it's time to replace it.
Is this TV fixable or should I just buy another one?
