Someone is giving me a auto tranny. They say it worked fine when they removed it, but it has been sitting outside in the elements for a few months, the torque converter has surface rust along with the input shaft on the tranny. I can always use the torque converter off my old tranny. Will this be ok to use, it is just going into my beater car to make it last another year. Putting in in myself.
Is this transmission ok to use in my car?
